Call-in Your Tweets and Make Social Networking History
Posted by normlevy on March 8, 2011

“Hands Free Tweeting” is FINALLY Here! Phrase coined by Vinny Guadagnino on Twitter
http://twitter.com/#!/VINNYGUADAGNINO/statuses/37663434803781632
Call in your Tweets and Facebook status updates with your Cell Phone!
For the first time in social networking history, you can call in “Voice Tweets” (Shouts, as we like to call them) with your phone and they automatically post to your Twitter and Facebook feeds.
Yes, you read that correctly! You can call in your Shouts to 717-SHOUT-12 (717-746-8812) and as soon as you leave your voice message your audible Shout is automatically posted to your Twitter and Facebook feeds!
Simply link the phone number that you will be calling in your Shouts from in your ShoutOmatic Settings and you are ready to start calling in your Shouts at any time, no matter where you are. Please be sure that you linked your Twitter and Facebook accounts in your settings as well.
Just as a note of interest: We actually developed the “phone in your Tweets” technology when we heard that certain governments, such as Egypt, Bahrain, Yemen and China were shutting down Internet access to their citizens. We have a separate hot line number 717-SHOUT-13 (001-717-746-8813) that allows anyone to call in their Voice Tweet messages and it automatically posts to Twitter at handle @PhonedIntweets for the entire world to HEAR.

Newt Gingrich Appoints Norm Levy To Jobs And Prosperity Task Force Advisory Board
Posted by normlevy on March 1, 2010
For Immediate Release: March 1st, 2010
Washinigton DC
Former Speaker of the House and General Chairman of American Solutions Newt Gingrich, announced today the appointment of Mr. Norm Levy to the Advisory Board of his Jobs and Prosperity Task Force.
The Jobs and Prosperity Task Force is comprised of the most successful and accomplished business leaders and entrepreneurs in America. The Task Force will focus on Jobs Here, Jobs Now, Job First.
“We have given Washington a chance. It has failed miserably and has proven to be so inept at job creation that our unemployment rate,as President Obama himself said, “blew past” his own administration’s projection of 8%. It’s time for the people who know how to create jobs and prosperity, know what it means to stick to a budget and make payroll —the business leaders of this country— to come together and clean up this mess,” Mr. Gingrich said.
“And we’re thrilled to have Mr. levy on board as we begin the work to get this economy back on track.”
As an Advisory Board Member, Mr. levy will be invited to Washington for strategy sessions and events where he will discuss ways of turning American economic problems around with tried, true and battle tested solutions that have been used in successful businesses.
American Solutions for Winning the Future, founded by Speaker Gingrich is a unique tri-partisan organization designed to rise above traditional gridlocked partisanship, to provide real, significant solutions to the most important issues facing our country.

| Bono Says PE Should Roll Right Into Rock Hall |
| Since artists become eligible for induction 25 years after the release of their first recording, many of the influential figures of mid-1980s hip-hop are only now beginning to be recognized.
“Public Enemy, for instance, needs to go straight in,” Bono said. “That’s as important a moment as the Beatles. It changed popular culture for the next 25 years, and it was important as the Beatles.” Chuck D continues to be instrumental at creating a very cool music destination with Norm Levy http://Beyond.FM |

Digital Photo Frames Join the Social Scene
By RIK FAIRLIE
Media Street has created a platform called LifeGoRound that serves as a content portal for its eMotion Social Connect digital frame, an 8-inch Wi-Fi-enabled display priced at $149. The LifeGoRound platform enables you to view photos stored at sharing sites like Facebook, Flickr, Picasa, Photobucket, and Walmart.
….I have been using the eMotion frame on my desk, and it’s almost like having a second display for monitoring Facebook, Twitter, and RSS feeds. Media Street has a few kinks to work out, but the LifeGoRound platform and eMotion frame are a fun way to go social and share photos.

COO of Facebook and VP of Engineering for Facebook Present Norm Levy’s eMotion Social-Connect at Conference
Posted by normlevy on December 6, 2009
The 7th Annual Gadgets Program: What’s Hot and What’s Not in Personal Technology
Speakers:
Greg Harper, President, Harpervision Associates
Walt Mossberg, Columnist, The Wall Street Journal
Sheryl Sandberg, Chief Operating Officer, Facebook
Mike Schroepfer, VP Engineering, Facebook
Kara Swisher, Co-Executive Director, AllThingsDigital
Once again, just before the holidays, the Churchill Club presents Walt Mossberg, influential personal technology columnist for the Wall Street Journal, together with Kara Swisher, co-producer and co-host with Mossberg of the popular “All Things Digital” conference, and Greg Harper, president of Harpervision Associates and co-founder of Gadgetoff, with their annual gadget show-and-tell. This year’s “tech geek” special guests are Sheryl Sandberg, Facebook’s COO, and Mike Schroepfer, Facebook’s VP of Engineering. Whether it’s cameras, ebooks, smart phones, or the coolest gadgets you’ve never heard of—Walt, Kara, Greg, Sheryl and Mike will reveal their latest and greatest favorite consumer tech products: which ones they consider worth the money and which ones are over-rated. These folks are not afraid to name names.
Sheryl Sandberg and Mike Schroepfer showcase the eMotion Social-Connect Digital Frame as a cool “wireless” way to send your Facebook photos to a Digital Photo Frame.
When Norm Levy met with Mike Schroepfer, “Schrep”, as he is known in the industry, applauded Norm and his company for a job “well done” integrating Facebook-connect into the new LifeGoRound platform for sending Facebook photos to a Digital Photo Frame (such as the eMotion Social-Connect).
